Common questions

My reminders aren't arriving

Almost always this is notification permission. Open the iOS Settings app → For Her → Notifications, and make sure Allow Notifications is on. Check that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't filtering them, and that Scheduled Summary isn't holding them until later.

Can I get my data on a new phone?

Not directly — and that's the tradeoff for having no account. Everything lives on the device, so there's no cloud copy to restore from. An encrypted iPhone backup (iCloud Backup or a Finder backup) does include app data, so restoring a new phone from a backup brings For Her across with it. Setting the new phone up as new starts you fresh.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they're cancelled through Apple: open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → For Her → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel it.

I paid but the app is asking me to subscribe

Tap Restore purchase at the bottom of the paywall. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account that made the purchase — a different account won't find it. If it still doesn't appear, email us with the date of purchase and we'll sort it out.

How long is the free trial?

Three days, with everything unlocked. We'll remind you two days before it renews, so it shouldn't charge you by surprise. After the trial it's $9.99 a year.

Can I change her name or the dates later?

Yes — everything is editable. Open Settings inside the app to change the name, adjust any date, or change when you get nudged. Nothing is locked in at onboarding.

How do I delete everything?

In the app, go to Settings → Start over. That clears her name, your reminders and your history, and it cannot be undone. Deleting the app removes the data too. Since nothing is ever sent to us, there's no server copy left behind.

Is my data private?

Yes. The app has no server, no account and no analytics, and makes no network requests of its own — so nothing you type can reach us. You can also lock the app behind Face ID. The privacy policy spells out exactly what is stored and where.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. The app is built to run on both, so it's on the list — email us if you want to hear when it lands.
